Landlord Tenant Program

To help support adults with special needs enjoy assisted independent living, the La Verendrye Non-Profit Supportive Housing Corporation provides housing and support services through the Landlord Tenant program. This provides rent-geared-to-income (RGI) housing in landlord/tenant units for individuals with challenges. This program includes more than 30 apartment units in multiple locations in Fort Frances. 

Eligibility includes individuals primarily of low or modest income under one or more of the following disadvantages:

• Developmentally challenged
• Physically, psychiatrically or emotionally challenge
• Disabled by age or frailty

Referral

Referrals can be made by a physician or other community agencies, a family member, friend or self. The referral form can be downloaded, filled out and returned to the address on the form.
