Riverside Prepared for Planned Fort Frances Power Outage

Riverside Health Care is prepared for the planned Fort Frances Power Corporation outage scheduled for this Sunday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

Riverside’s Fort Frances facilities are equipped to operate predominantly on generator power during an outage, and contingency plans are in place to support the continued delivery of essential health care and long-term care services.

Teams across the organization have been preparing for the outage, with additional measures and staffing being put in place where required. While some non-essential services and amenities may be temporarily affected, plans are in place to minimize disruptions for patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Riverside will continue to monitor operations throughout the planned outage and respond to any issues that may arise.
