July Riverside 50/50 Winner Takes Home $16,325

Riverside Health Care is pleased to congratulate Emily Mosbeck of Emo, Ontario, the lucky winner of the July Riverside 50/50 draw, taking home an incredible $16,325!

Emily kicked off her August long weekend with quite the surprise when she learned she had the winning ticket. “No way!” was her immediate reaction. Not expecting the news, Emily wasn’t sure at first why Riverside was reaching out, making the $16,325 win an even bigger surprise.

“I just got my hair done yesterday, and at the hairdresser’s we were talking about the draws. I said even if you don’t win, it doesn’t matter because it’s a donation,” Emily shared.

The Riverside 50/50 continues to offer participants the chance to win while supporting health care close to home. Proceeds from each draw help Riverside Health Care enhance local programs, services and equipment for patients, residents and families across the Rainy River District.

“We love being able to make these calls and surprise our winners, but what makes the 50/50 so special is knowing that every ticket purchased also supports local health care.” said Holly Kaemingh, Director of Fundraising at Riverside Health Care. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone, like Emily, who continues to participate and support the Riverside 50/50 month after month.”

August’s 50/50 tickets are now on sale. Purchase tickets at www.rhc5050.com, by stopping by the La Verendrye General Hospital Administration Office Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., by calling 807-274-6635, or by visiting us in person every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Main Entrance of La Verendrye General Hospital off Front Street.
