Rainycrest Auxiliary Donation Funds New Therapeutic Bathing System
May 20, 2026
Riverside Health Care is extending
sincere thanks to the Rainycrest Auxiliary for their generous donation of
$27,068.33 in support of resident care at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home.
The contribution fully funded the
purchase and installation of an Arjo Rhapsody recumbent bathing system, a
specialized therapeutic tub designed to enhance comfort, dignity,
accessibility, and safety for residents of all mobility levels during bathing
and personal care.
The Arjo Rhapsody features a unique
keyhole-shaped design that improves caregivers' access to the upper body,
supporting ergonomic workflows and enabling more effective therapeutic bathing.
The system is compatible with hygiene lifts and is designed to accommodate a
wide range of mobility and care needs.
The new bathing system has been
installed and is now in use at Rainycrest.
“The continued support of the
Rainycrest Auxiliary makes a meaningful difference for our residents, staff,
and home,” said Holly Kaemingh, Director of Fundraising at Riverside Health
Care. “This generous donation has funded an important piece of equipment that
enhances resident comfort, dignity, and safety, while supporting quality care
for individuals of all mobility levels. We are incredibly grateful for the
Auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to Rainycrest and the residents we serve.”
Riverside would like to recognize
and thank the Rainycrest Auxiliary, as well as all Auxiliary groups, for their
dedication and ongoing support of initiatives like this one that enhance the
care we provide.
