Rainycrest Flooring Project Update: East Wing Access Changes (Today)

As the flooring project at Rainycrest continues, temporary access changes will be in place today to allow work to be completed safely.

The East Wing will not be accessible between approximately 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. During this time, residents will remain in their wing or be supported in relocating to an alternate area, such as activation, prior to the start of work.

Families planning to visit during this time are encouraged to contact the home in advance so that arrangements can be made. Where possible, visits may also be scheduled earlier in the day.

Residents who regularly spend time outside of their unit (such as in activation or for required smoking breaks) will be supported by staff to relocate prior to the temporary closure.

Additional staff will be available to assist residents during this time, ensuring comfort and continuity of care.

All emergency exits will remain accessible, and plans are in place to respond to any needs that may arise.
