Riverside Health Care will be completing flooring renovations in the front entrance and Boise Square areas at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home from March 19 to approximately March 30, 2026.

Preparation and cleanup work will begin on March 13 to help ready the area for construction and ensure the project can begin safely and efficiently. This preparation includes temporarily closing the Rainycrest Tuck Shop while the work is underway.

This project is an important part of ongoing facility improvements and will replace older flooring with a safer, more accessible single-level surface, reducing trip hazards and improving mobility for residents, families, staff, and visitors.

During this time, visitors may notice temporary entrance changes, construction hoarding, and periods of noise while crews remove the existing tile and install the new flooring.

Rainycrest will continue to operate as usual during construction, and signage will be in place to guide residents, families, and visitors through temporary access routes.
