Riverside Health Care is pleased to share the joyful news of the first baby born in 2026,  a special milestone that marks both a new year and a new beginning for one local family.

At 8:34 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, proud parents Chelsea and Kelvin Croswell welcomed their son, Hayden Kelvin Croswell, into their family.

The arrival of a new life is an extraordinary moment for families, and the care received during labour and in the precious time that follows becomes a lasting part of their story. Riverside Health Care is deeply grateful for our exceptional obstetrics care team at La Verendrye General Hospital, who guide families through labour, delivery, and newborn care with compassion, expertise, and reassurance every step of the way. Their dedication leaves a meaningful imprint on the lives of the families we serve.
