Riverside’s 50/50 Jackpot Surges Past $11,500 for Second Month in a Row

Riverside Health Care is pleased to share that the November 50/50 jackpot has surged past $11,500 for the second month in a row, marking another exciting milestone as the final week of the November draw gets underway. With the holiday season approaching, the community once again has an opportunity to take part in something festive, meaningful, and full of possibility.

This sustained momentum reflects the strong local support behind Riverside’s Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS! campaign, raising funds to bring cutting-edge diagnostic imaging equipment to the Rainy River District. Proceeds from the monthly 50/50 draw directly support the arrival of the district's first MRI unit and advanced digital X-ray systems at both La Verendrye General Hospital and the Rainy River Health Centre. These enhancements will improve image quality, reduce wait times, and ensure residents have access to faster, more accurate diagnostics close to home.

“Our community continues to show remarkable generosity,” said Holly Kaemingh, Director of Fundraising. “Surpassing $11,500 again demonstrates the community’s commitment to improving health care close to home. Each ticket helps ensure these essential diagnostic tools become a reality.”

Tickets for the November draw can be purchased online at www.rhc5050.com, by stopping in at the La Verendrye General Hospital Administration Office Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., by calling 807-274-6635, or by visiting the in-person ticket table every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Main Entrance of La Verendrye General Hospital off Front Street.

As the jackpot continues to climb, this draw offers residents an opportunity to ring in the holiday season with a little extra joy while helping fund equipment that will benefit patients and families for years to come. It’s a win-win that captures the spirit of the season: community, generosity, and the shared goal of strengthening health care close to home. Its community spirit at its best, supporting a shared vision for a stronger, more accessible health-care future close to home.
