Double Bucket List Win: Casey Badiuk Takes Home $11,730

Congratulations to Casey Badiuk, winner of $11,730 in Riverside’s monthly 50/50 draw, which supports the Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS! campaign to bring advanced diagnostic imaging technology to communities across the Rainy River District.

It’s a double bucket list win. Casey had always dreamed of holding a big cheque, and Riverside had its own goal of crossing the $10,000 prize mark. Both dreams came true with this milestone draw!

For Casey, this win felt especially meaningful. Just weeks ago, her family welcomed a new baby at La Verendrye General Hospital, where they experienced what she described as “excellent care and compassion from every member of the team.” That experience inspired her to support Riverside’s fundraising efforts. “It’s a no-brainer when even if you don’t win, the money is supporting your local hospital,” said Badiuk.

“We’re seeing incredible momentum with this fundraiser,” said Holly Kaemingh, Riverside Foundation Director. “Reaching and surpassing the $10,000 prize mark is a major milestone, and it’s only the beginning. November ticket sales are already off to a strong start, and we’re so grateful to the community for helping us bring advanced diagnostic imaging right here at home.”
