Riverside Health Care Participates in Active Living Fair in Rainy River
January 20, 2025
On January 9th, Riverside proudly took part in the Active Living Fair in Rainy River, engaging with community members and local partners to promote health, wellness, and access to essential services.
Members of Riverside’s Senior Leadership Team were on hand to connect with community members, discuss health care initiatives, and listen to community concerns.
Riverside Community Support Services (CSS) had team members present, including staff from Diabetes Education, Stroke Prevention and Education, Transportation Services, Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care Activation, providing valuable information and resources to those in attendance.
"Events like the Active Living Fair are essential opportunities for us to connect directly with the community and hear their thoughts on health care needs and share existing and expanding services in our district that benefit all," said Henry Gauthier, President & CEO of Riverside Health Care. "We are committed to ensuring that seniors and all community members have access to the information and support they need to maintain their health and well-being."
We extend our appreciation to the Rainy River Senior Activity Depot for hosting and planning this meaningful event. Their dedication to organizing the Active Living Fair created an invaluable space for collaboration and engagement that highlighted the importance of active aging, preventative care, and accessible health services in Rainy River and the surrounding communities.
Riverside remains committed to collaborating with community partners to ensure accessible, high-quality care and resources for those we serve.
