In and Out-Patient Counselling

If you have been diagnosed by your physician with a disease or condition such as Heart Disease, Diabetes, Obesity, Cancer, Allergies, Digestive Disorders, an Eating Disorder, etc. which requires a special diet for treatment, be sure to ask for a referral to the Registered Dietitian. At your first visit, the Registered Dietitian will perform a nutritional assessment of your eating and lifestyle habits and a care plan will be developed based on your individual nutritional needs. Nutrition counselling is also available for individuals who would like to improve their eating habits to lead to a healthier lifestyle and for disease prevention.

Nutrition Workshops and Community Presentations

A variety of workshops are offered to promote healthy eating and increase nutrition awareness to members of the community.
