In March 2006, our chemotherapy program relocated to its permanent location. It is a quiet, bright and cheery area, which has the capability of accommodating 6 patients at any one time. Through donations, grants and hospital assistance we are decorating the unit to ensure our oncology patients are comfortable during their treatment.

We are pleased to have this program available for the residents of our district to allow “Care Close to Home”. We have additional support from the Canadian Cancer Society volunteers who volunteer their time to the program by offering emotional support and personal experiences.
