Visiting Hours

11:00am - 8:00pm
In order to ensure a restful atmosphere, family and friends are asked to limit the number of visitors to two at a time.

Open from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. The cafeteria is staffed by a group of wonderful volunteers. Lunch is served to visitors between the hours of 11:00am to 1:00pm

Other Information

The Emo Health Centre has 3 Acute Care beds for medical conditions. Respiratory problems, diabetes and its complications, and GI problems are a few of the most common diagnosis. We have an Urgent Care Department open from Monday to Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm, excluding holidays.

We have 12 Long Term Care (LTC) beds available. The LTC component has 8 private rooms and 2 double rooms. The multidisciplinary team is made up of physicians, registered nurses, registered preactical nurses and health care aides. Our residents have activities offered 5 days a week. We have 8 private rooms and 2 semiprivate rooms. All of our residents and patients are cared for by the RNs , RPNs, health care aides, administrative staff and support staff of housekeeping, foods services and maintenance.

We have a Physiotherapist on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a dietician and diabetic educators that come once a month. A Community Councillor that is also available if needed.

There is a Loan Cupboard that is run by our Hospital Auxiliary.

There are 2 full time doctor equivalents working in our facility, their clinic is downstairs in our facility as well as a Dental Clinic.
